​How it works:

Once we have a time scheduled for a pickup one or two members of our crew will arrive at your location. Our team members do come with boxes in case there is a need. During pickup we cannot offer tax deductible forms because we currently do not have non-profit status.

The book rescue provides a free service which picks up books and media. Do you have ​school supplies, household odds and ends, we can haul those too. Where does it go? We find your items new homes through one of our many channels. If we aren’t able to re–home them, they’ll be responsibly recycled. On average, The Book Rescue finds new homes for 95% of what we receive, and the rest gets recycled.

What we pick up:

Hardcover books, paperback books, and textbooks.  Books are our main cause, but we also will pickup CD’s, DVD’s, software, LP’s, video games, laser discs, electronics, school / office supplies, and some other items.

What we don’t accept:

We cannot pickup magazines, newspapers, encyclopedias, and large items such as refrigerators, furniture, tvs, or anything hazardous.

Pickup times:
The receptionist will schedule a pickup time that is convenient for you, including Sundays.
